A successful character design is the use and combination of a wide range of skills, as well as the possession of certain basic knowledge. In other words, a successful design is a process consisting of half of the design, half of the visualization. The design consists in analyzing the situation, formulating the task and developing an inventive, interesting and elegant solution. Visualization consists in skillful use of the basic principles of anatomy, composition and color theory, as well as in the ability to implement the solution of the very task formulated in the design process.
In the process of project implementation, our designers carry out a detailed and illustrated presentation of the concept, with the amount of illustrative material (various angles and variants of the character, settings and environments, etc.) that the customer needs to understand the project, and so on. Also we use animated clips in the demonstrations project volumes. For characters in 3d, we create a visualization of the character’s model and work on texturing.
A very effective way to convey the image of the hero is to create an illustration in a more narrative style. Of course, such a picture can only come about when the character’s design is already well developed. Showing your hero involved in some major conflict or turning point in history, we convey more information about him than with a simple sketch.
